The 2021 ExCred Americas conference is the summit event in the Americas to connect with the export credit insurance community. The virtual conference will take place from 5 thto 6 thOctober.

John Cherkezian, an Advisor at Enigio, will be one of the speakers at the summit. On the opening day, he will participate in a mid-day session entitled “Drivers and Benefits of using Trade Credit Insurance” at 12:15 EST.

With expansion comes a greater focus on the development of technology. Enigio is delighted to announce that Johan Åström is now a part of the team. He has joined the company as a Backend Developer.

Johan has completed his M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. He specialises in privacy and security, which touches on vital parts of Enigio’s business such as cryptography, foundations of blockchain, and ensuring data and services confidentiality, integrity and availability.

Before joining Enigio, Johan worked as a Software Developer with a focus on backend technologies at several IT companies. He also has experience in sales and customer service, which leads to a good understanding of fulfilling customers’ needs and requirements.

In a global economy that depends on cross-border transactions, digitalisation has become a necessity, especially looking at the consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic. But, as it turns out, the biggest obstacle seen in the move towards trade digitalisation is creating legally effective digital original documents.
